Weekday Update #1,263,295
Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time just kind of hanging out. It’s been incredibly cold here in the southeast. The gardens are long gone. The chickens spend most of their time huddling and lying down. Pan has a part-time job for a few weeks so we haven’t been cooking a lot of fun stuff. Baking has all but stopped post-holidays. I have no photo shoots coming up. Work has slowed down for the time being. So I have been occupying my time daydreaming, writing, reading, blogging, etc. So, here’s a quick glimpse into what it boils down to:
- I think these would probably bring a little light and a whole lot of fun to any 3-season room or craft space
- I have been waiting for this show to air again since it left off last October or so
- I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands and this shall be my guide
- Looking at these guys for inspiration for the Buggy Town 1980s prom
- This is probably the coolest friend I have met on Flickr in a long time
- Learning to love REAL scotch
- One day I will have one of these in my hands
- I really want to adorn my walls with some of these

Awww shucks- I made it on your blog! Thanks so much for the “shout out” (Does anyone still say that?), new buddy! I have been diligently reading your archived blog posts to get caught up and am tickled that we share the same taste in scotch. Stay warm and keep on with the bloggin’!

Made it on my blog? You inspired this post because I wanted all of my readers to see what an amazing person you are and how cool you make life there in Austin! And I am not sure about others but I totally say “shout out.” One day our kids will think we are old because we say “shout out.” hahahahaha! Thank you for catching up on my blog. I hope you enjoy at least some of what you read. My posts are certainly all over the board! hahahaha.
Scotch. WOW. Got a “sampler” bottle (however sampler means something different in Scotland I now know)….well a gift box with 3 bottles (5 years old, 9 years old and 15 years old) of Glenfiddich from my cousin who lives in Edinburgh. She is now my most favorite cousin! hahahahahah
Stayin’ warm tonight for sure with the heat of the newest American Idol wanna-be’s and a roarin (albeit gas powered) fireplace!
