A tisket. A tasket. A Christmas basket.

This Christmas Pan and I gave each of the aunts and uncles as well as our siblings a basket ‘o goodies. Goodies, you ask? What kind of goodies? Let’s just say the baskets themselves were pretty goodie.

Each basket was lined with a fitted liner that I sewed. The material we selected in the hopes to capture each families personality.

Basket

In side the baskets were a mix of jams (Strawberry or Blueberry), jelly (Apple Butter, Pear Butter or Pepper), one of Pan’s homemade candles and/or a set of handmade coasters.

Baskets

All of that was then wrapped, ribboned and otherwise decorated. I feel as if each recipient truly appreciated their basket and I know we enjoyed making them. It was our first real “crafty” gifting as a married couple and we were quite pleased with the result!

@Lauren – Thank you so much. That means a lot coming from you; being so derned stylish all the time and all. Thank you.

I love the Christmas baskets… but not as much as I loved the apron you gave Mrs. Odom. What a thoughtful gift!

You would have loved the quilt shop in historic downtown Staunton. Not just the fabrics but the photos and atmosphere — unbeatable.

    Blessings!
