Earth Hour 2009
I just want to say thank you to all of you who participated in Earth Hour this year. Out of the 43 friends I personally invited I had 18 who responded positively and committed to “flipping their switch.” A special thanks to the cousins in Hoboken who even sent iPhone pics showing me their beautiful darkness.
Here in Barnesville there weren’t many people who would commit to the cause. A few did though and I hope they all realized (as I did) that artifical lighting just isn’t necessary.
My family was cool enough to commit and we even spent time just talking and laughing together in our own darkened bliss.
