Basically, it’s a neat little widget that allows you to view yours and others’ solar potential and finally put some energy and financial figures to your idea. Okay, so if my landlord were to put a solar array 369 sq.ft. on our roof (which has a 10 degree pitch front to back with no shade…..EVER) then each apt. (there are 3) would save an average of $80.27/month on a utility bill. It would cost about $25k to install this array but with a general loan from BOA the cost would be recovered in 11 years.
