Porters Are Coming To A City Near You
Yesterday at about 6:12pm EST I launched another business. Yes, I know that it seems to make me a tad ADD, neurotic, hyper, overly focused, etc. But rest assured that is is just about having a dream or an idea and working hard to see it to fruition. The process is becoming shorter each time as it only took 16 days from concept to launch to put CityPorters on the ‘net map.
CityPorters is a social community – based, online Hotel Review / Booking site. We decide on a city (we have chosen to begin with Barcelona) and create intelligent, sexy, glamorous, honest, detailed listings of hotels in that city and send them out into cyberland. If/When someone books their hotel from CityPorters (or BarcelonaPorters or LondonPorters download Thumbsucker download Bugsy Malone
download Bulletproof , etc) then we receive a commission from that hotel. It is a very simple concept and with the continued rate of growth for online travel booking I am encouraged that this will make a small amount of money on a very consistent basis. This is not a venture that requires venture capital nor do I need investors. It is a very small, well-oiled machine.
