Not Just Another Day
It is almost April 17th and I am just now recovering from that horrid day of the year known as “tax day”. I honestly thought that this years preparation and savings would be adequate to cover both federal and state. My good intentions were not enough though as the amount owed (taxes are exceedingly difficult as a freelancer) completely made a mockery of what was actually saved and available to pay out. Whatever the case, the deadline was met, taxes were paid and preparation can begin for April 15, 2009. And so it goes…
