Tea Towel Tao
The nice thing about living in a small town
is that when you don’t know what you’re doing
someone else surely does.
Yesterday was such a confusing day. After experiencing a day in the Delta with 65 degree temperatures and bright, blue skies one would hardly expect to wake up the very next day to 38 degree temperatures and a chance of flurries. But, as I have come to find out, anything is possible in the South. So, snow it did. The sky was grey all morning and the threat of precipitation was looming. By 2pm the snow had begun and it was driving, to say the least. Granted it only lasted about 3 hours, it gave us something to look at, laugh at and take pictures of. It is amazing how the things I thought were beautiful just the day before had given front row to a few things I have overlooked that were now glorious in their coat of white.
I have woken up to 45 degree temperatures this morning and the sun is out again. As I look out across the street to the creek, the ducks are already playing and you can see the steam rising from the frozen earth. It is going to be a great day!

Welcome to Anguilla. I live down the street from Emily’s house (I went to school with Emily but she’s a bit younger than I am). I suppose it’s a small world - I accidently stumbled across your blog while doing some web searches on Anguilla. You’ve been by my house it seems - you took a picture of my neighbors house (you labled it old white farmhouse).
